The solid and experienced marine service sector in Tauranga provides a comprehensive variety of services and products to owners and skippers from overseas, as well as other New Zealand regions.
The Tauranga Marine Industry Association Inc (TMIA), was launched in 1998. Its formation was a result of Central Government’s encouragement of the ‘Cluster’ model in economic development. The cluster group is made up of local companies and representatives from across the Tauranga marine industry, from boat sales and brokerage, marine retailers, boatbuilders, marina operators and training providers.
