Hall Marine Design (formerly Maxwell & Hall) is based in Mount Maunganui, New Zealand and was established in early 2007.
The HMD team consists of experienced fishermen, powerboat and ocean enthusiast’s who pride themselves on producing functional, innovative design solutions in aluminium, steel and lightweight composites.
HMD have a ever growing range of diverse power boat designs, including notable custom and production trailer boats to large world- class motor yacht designs. Known for both recreational, commercial vessels and an ever growing range of kit-set boat designs.

We are lucky to have our boats running on all corners of the globe.

Our jet boat designs are being built in North Carolina, USA to service clients in both Europe and  Asia. Our kit-set models have been assembled in South Korea and are big sellers throughout Australia.

It is the world renowned New Zealand Marine Industry that serves as our backbone. Locals love and stand by our products. We love to listen to them to help develop our extensive range. Our reputation combined with  word of mouth within the industry has lead to numerous models being built in New Zealand for clients based in the Pacific Islands.
